Family Connection, Inc is the parent company for Hope Hill Youth Services.

Founded in 1960 by Rev. Robert Kitchen and Ruby Kitchen, Hope Hill began as an orphanage. It was the Kitchen’s dream to provide a safe haven to children in need — a place where they could find love and care, receive an education, and no longer worry if their most basic needs would be met.

While Hope Hill has evolved to meet the changing needs of society, we still hold true to the Kitchen’s vision — providing a safe haven for children in need. Histories of abuse and neglect have left the children we serve with behavioral and emotional problems requiring extensive treatment and therapy. They have been labeled trouble makers and looked down on by our communities because of the situations they come from. Not here though. Hope Hill provides a calm and nurturing environment for hurting children to grow and heal — we do this through our residential treatment program, therapeutic foster care and independent living program.
