Hope Hill's Residential Treatment Program is an all-female facility that provides a personal and safe therapeutic environment for young women in crisis. We deliver specialized, individual care and group therapy for victims with histories of sexual abuse, neglect, chronic runaways and/or substance abuse issues. When it comes to treatment, our girls deserve the very best possible care we can provide and we seek innovative and effective ways to help our girls heal, including equine assisted counseling, substance abuse recovery programs and mentoring programs.
Hope Hill also supports family reunification by encouraging families to become involved in the treatment planning process and through individual, group and family therapy. When needed family therapy is offered after hours and on weekends. Hope Hill facilitates regular communication between youth and family members, transports youth to their homes for home visits, and provides for on campus family visitation (including no-cost accommodations for approved visiting family members).
Therapeutic Groups
In addition to the groups conducted as part of our Substance Abuse Recovery Component, Hope Hill provides specialty groups which each youth can attend 3-12 times a week. Our core groups include:
-
Aggression Replacement Training (ART)
-
Sexual Abuse Survivors Group
-
Independent Living Group
-
Alcohol and Drug Education Group

Health Care Services
Good health practices and access to a broad range of medical services are essential to the well-being of the residents of Hope Hill. With our onsite medical clinic and full-time, licensed practical nurse, Hope Hill provides residents with regular health screenings, manages medical needs, and coordinates efforts in infection control and universal precautions.
During weekends and non business hours the nurse is on-call and available for medical consultation. All youth admitted to Hope Hill receive an initial psychiatric evaluation and follow-up consultations on an as needed basis.
Through a partnership with the Community Family Clinic, Hope Hill will be able to provide weekly on-site treatment. At this well-equipped clinic, residents will receive primary medical care, pediatric care, health education, nutritional counseling, gynecological care, and a complete medical assessment.
This additional service will coincide with our existing psychiatric treatment program which will occupy the clinic’s space two days of each month. A Resident Nurse Practitioner will continue to administer initial psychiatric assessments and medication management to our residents, but the new clinic location will provide our staff and residents with a significant improvement in privacy and confidentiality.
